About Us

The SIL Program is part of a SPECTRUM of services in the Permanency Planning
process, associated with Hawk Residential Care and Treatment Homes and
Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care Services.

Regions Served

SIL provides service in Durham and York Regions, Peterborough and Lindsay as well as the Kawartha-Haliburton area and has also provided SIL support in the Scarborough area. Agencies are welcome to for a confidential discussion of our program.

Associations

Hawk Residential & Treatment Homes

Hawk Residential Care and Treatment Homes operates Children's Residences
licensed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and Children and
Youth Services: all three residences were awarded a three year CARF
accreditation award as Residential Treatment residences.

Hawk programs provide services to children and youth with a variety of Axis I diagnoses, often combined with personality issues, complex learning problems and constitutional issues such as FASD and/or pre-natal exposure to drugs, or are dually diagnosed with a developmental delay

Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care Services

Hollyhawk Treatment Foster Care Services offers nurturing and caring treatment foster care, licensed by the Ministry of Community and Social Services and Children and Youth Services, dedicated to the treatment and development of children and youth. Staff and foster parents are committed professionals who work as a team helping children to grow, learn and develop to become strong and contributing members of the community.
